Uses

Gurmar plant is used for diabetes, metabolic syndrome, weight loss, and cough. It is also used for malaria and as a snake bite antidote, digestive stimulant, laxative, appetite suppressant, and diuretic.

Apply Gudmar leaves powder along with coconut oil once a day  to reduce itching, burning sensations. If the juice of the leaves is consumed or if the leaves are chewed, then the tongue loses the perception of sweetness for hours

Gymnema sylvestre is a perennial woody vine native to tropical Asia, China, the Arabian Peninsula, Africa, and Australia. The leaves are elongated, oval-shaped that have soft hairs on the surface bearing small yellow flowers that bloom all through the year
